Hello, Thanks for the reply and interesting tought about size. The wow 15th Anniversary Collector's Edition (that we do have) was more just a inbetween expansions statue so it was a square box but not really a retangle (do I have that wrong)? I guess I didnt think of that as a real expansion but yes the word collecters is in the title. Good point on statue, looking into size of package.

Typicaly the power for the Leds comes from the USB (not 3.5 mm plug) you may need to plug in the USB. Hope that helps.

Theres allot of confusion in DSF vs DSD. DSD is the commercial name for digital audio encoded with 1 bit at sampling frequencies that are multiples of 2.8MHz. There are two major file formats that store DSD audio: DFF (i.e. DSD Interchange File Format, or DSDIFF) and DSF (i.e. DSD Stream File). Im not sure about the "native dsd usb mode". I would just try it and see. I have experienced Super Audio Cds ripped in DSD may not work. Also You can play back a DSF or DFF file without conversion on a DAC that supports DSD, either natively or as DoP. If the DAC doesn’t support DSD, audio will be converted to PCM. This conversion is not lossless, since there is down-sampling involved (from 2.8MHz down to say 352.8kHz). Conversion from PCM to DSD is also not lossless, since that involves up-sampling and bit reduction to 1 bit. So allot could cause it to not work but I would just try and see.

Its not an arcade machine (or arcade machine price). Its a toy with the look of an arcade machine. But even with arcade machine prices a real dig dug arcade machine doesnt hold high scores if you pull the plug out. You're not really comparing apples to apples. Its like saying a Toy Corvette should have all the same features of a real (full price) one.

If you use Bluetooth you don't need it, it's the same from your phone. The amp and dac are in your earphones.

@@ghiocadrian7399 Well 4.0 is an old version of bluetooth but such a small amount of delay won't be much of an issue. The build quality did look quite sturdy enough. I actually plan on buying this model and will use it on both manual and bluetooth connection

I just made a video yesterday on my surfans F20 ruclips.net/video/RipNnaWTNU4/видео.html but over the last 2 years its held up great. You can see in the video. I should add im very hard on electronics - tossing in backpacks, dropping off scooters and you can see some scratches on the screen. If I was to buy a new one I may put a screen protector on it but after 2 years it works great including blutooth.

Yes the Sony NW-A306 does sound better than Samsung smart phones but does take about .28 seconds to go from pressing the NW-A306 power button to main screen so the boot time on a 2nd device is something to consider. Also a few of the sound features are exclusive to using wired headphones but I still like it over a cell straight up. I did buy a Sony Xperia 1 V smartphone too for those times where Im too lazy (or just rushed) to boot an actual Sony NW-A306 and wait the 28 seconds.

I prefer earphones sound over headphones and i dont know any alternatives for wired earphones which is around the same price as the sonys wf-1000xm line, but sounds better. Also i really like the convinience which comes with bluetooth earphones, but ive been using this system around 3 years now and i feel like its time for some upgrade in quality.

10 min??? Sounds like something is wrong. How long does it take to boot without SD card? Also did you add additional aps on it? While you can I dont suggest it as it slows thew boot.

@@TUXXREVIEWS it takes about a minute without the sd card. The sd card is a sandisk class 10 128gb memory card. So yeah im kinda had enough. I have an ipod classic on its last life and i have a mechen coming in the mail but thinking of gettinf the surfans f28 due to the fact it can run 512gb sd cards. My current one has 4gb left and that might be the reason cause its almost full i dunno but im over the sony constantly taking to long to boot up

That is with no SD card in it.

Yours sounds defective, did you buy from my link on Amazon? The volum knob should be nice tension with a little click - not wonky. As far as the background noise that could be many things. I would first try a diffrent pair of headphones.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, Mine worked a good 2 years ++ I dont recall hold much longer but I dont think it made year 3 - Pretty long run in my book running 24/7. Have you tried LG? I've had good luck with those too.

For Power the A&K Alpha is the most powerful dap I've tested. It can use high ohm headphones. Thanks for the suggestions too.

To get a great HD expereince you need a HD audio source (music flie), HD Player and HD Headphones. First step is to make sure your music sorce is the highest quality music file availible. My Favorite format is DSF but Flac will do. Your player is a great choice for a $100+ player. Now your headphones are a great brand but a bit of a lower model for Senhiser. Besides quality Senhiser is known for is high ohm (resistance) headphones that need allot of power. The Sennheiser hd560s amzn.to/3YmiDmL are 120 ohm (high resistance) in comparason the Sony flgship noise canceling headphones WH-1000XM5 amzn.to/3A24b9c are only 48 ohm so more power will hit your ear from the same player. So to get the most of your player you could add a headphone amp like the $21 amzn.to/3YnGiDo This unit canbe charged for portable use. There is more expensive options for a headphone amp like the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro ($118) amzn.to/4fnLuNj Perhaps try to find a place where you could test a pair of the Sony WH-1000xm5 (best buy?) or just buy off Amazon amzn.to/4fnRaXS and return if not happy. And final thought would be to keep your headphones and get a even more powerful DAP like the astell & kern Alpha with more than enough power - Heres my video on that player ruclips.net/video/secPyD11zoA/видео.html. This video is a year old and I still have and use this polisher but I only use the yellow one. They look so simular but may be a slightly diffrent weight or thickness but both are velcro and very simular. My first impression is its just so you could have diffrent pads velcrowed to them and more quicly swap them out. The velcrow is very strong and take some work to get off. I may make a video on this in the next week but without trying I believe you would artist and album would show next. Keep in mind they would need to be in there own folder by album and correctly tagged using a MP3 tag editor. It should work.
